Can we adopt a student if we're in a position to be adopted?

It depends as you can be in more than one small group at a time. If you want to adopt a student into the small group you want to be adopted from then no... that is called abuse.

BUT, if you want to adopt a student into a different group from the one you could be potentially adopted from then all is well.

I seem to find universities, particularly IT faculities to be addicted with this idea of group work. I'm going to have to have a meeting to work the causes of this........
