(no subject)
so yeah, this weekend/beginning of the week was really good. in spite of being slightly sick, and getting a few people to join in supporting this virus, i had a great time. football season started out well with a 17-0 victory over Briarwood...i'm sorry, Avery Driggers, your team couldnt cut it. haha, well then after that game, i went to Catherine's with a group of people and that was fun, even though we couldnt find the old Andy Milonakis site. haha, that failure just gave us more time to talk about naughty picture-drawing monks. haha, oh European History provided some interesting conversation starters. btw, the half-time show went pretty well. it felt good to get one out of the way. i got more nervous on the solo than i thought. i'll calm down more next week. but then saturday, i just kinda slept in and tried to recover. once i got up at 2, i messed around the house and then went to dinner at Cheesecake Factory at like 6. That was good to be with Fran and her friends. after that, i drove to laura's party, and though i didnt swim, i had a good time. ultimate frisbee afterward was awesome! so i went home and had some good conversations, some actually goin til like 2 at least? haha, so i got slowly out of bed for church in the morning, but i was glad i got up. the sermon was good, and the sunday school lesson was on grief/helping people through grief. i really liked the lesson and i love my new teachers. that night i had a good time at church and then went home and did homework and stuff, but i had to make a late-night run to get gas and a composition lab book at Rite-Aid. it was a nice excursion that lasted much longer than it should have. but school on monday kinda went by slowly until we were allowed to leave at 2! it was awesome, but i thought that'd be all we got, so i did most of my homework, but i didnt start late because i was caught up in a few conversations that i didnt wanna leave, and i'm glad i didnt. it was good that things were said. and after i finished homework, i went to sleep and woke up for early-bird only to find out that SCHOOL WAS CANCELED! i went back to sleep for a good while and woke up to play football with my friends. today was really good and relaxing day. and the past 5 days have been great. well, i've talked on and on far too long, so i'm done. have a good rest of the week, and check this awesome band out. ...i'm out.
