It's official
I am a resident of Philly as of about 1 PM today. Kinda weird to realize I've really left home now. It'll be fine, of course, but I've had a few moments today where it really struck me and made me stop to think. I guess I'm losing a bit. Security, stability, money. Goodness knows it'll be paycheck to paycheck for a while. I'm gaining some, too. Independence, city life, maybe a measure of adulthood. I guess it's one of those rite of passage moments. Eh, I'm getting too deep, maybe. Time to enjoy it while I can, young and single. L'chaim and all that.
