MUUUUUSE!
I just got back from my Nashville trip to go see Muse! It was wicked awesome. I was a little disappointed by the songs they chose to cut, namely Apocalypse Please and Map of the Problematique, but the have so many good ones, you know? I think I also like their stage set up from their last tour better, but the three towers were pretty neat.
After the concert we went back to the hotel and I had this dream that we were leaving the concert and ran into Muse in the back of the hockey arena and they were like, "Hey, come hang out with us! We're gonna go to one of these bars with the live bands and totally show them up!" So we did and they were like, "Hey, what songs can you play?" and I went, "Well, I know Uprising pretty well on guitar, and Drew can sing it pretty well," so they invited us up on stage and we played that song and it was aaaaawwwweeessssoooommmeeeeee!!!
The night previous we went to the Hard Rock cafe to eat and we had this super awesome server guy. He was a big scary lookin' dude with a V for Vendetta tattoo on his arm and above and below that were the latin words from the Boondock Saints. I was wearing my Tool shirt at the time and we were talking about seeing them in concert. He also was working on his own Mod for Sins of a Solar Empire. He was seriously, like, the coolest dude ever.
The car ride there and back was very long, but very nice for me. I haven't had a long car ride in a while and it gave me time to think about things. Drew slept literally the ENTIRE car ride there and back.
We spent a night at his aunt's house in Hotlanta on Tuesday before coming back, and that was fun. We talked and talked and talked a lot about everything you can imagine. Then we watched Lost. I think next week's episode is the only one I can honestly say I'm excited for. It's all about Eyeliner and his story- sorry, Richard, I think is his name. The mayor from The Dark Knight.
Spring Break is going well so far, though I'm not really catching up on the sleep I needed. I need to get back into the swing of things with Randall comic-wise.

I almost forgot: I did this last quarter for 3D Production. This project has been hell incarnate for me and cost me many a night of... no sleep. I'm not happy at all with how it turned out.
