I feel its time to vent... lets do this by topics...
-Macy's:
Oh boy do I hate Macy's. Here's the deal, its strangely like 'Office Space.' I have like 6 bosses, who all have to stop and tell me something I'm doing wrong every time they walk by. But here's the deal, its not always my fault. Like this morning, I got a lecture about the importance of folding towels because whoever closed last night didn't make sure that the towel area was perfectly organized. I didn't even work yesterday. WTF?! Then, I was helping Money (yes my coworker's name is Money) make the beds, and I get paged and its my boss asking why I wasn't in housewares, and I told her I was helping Money and she says there were customers in housewares who need help. But here's the thing... there weren't any people there! It was just this lady from cosmetics upstairs who called Lee because she didn't see anyone there. And apparently she does that a lot and Money hates her. UGH. his job makes me wonder if I will just end up in a dead end minimum wage job, pregnant, and living at my parents house at the age of 25. Honestly. Thanks. Macy's you have made me lose the will to live.
-My coworkers:
Okay, so most of them are nice. In fact, I like most of them, even the really strange ones... But here's the thing, the people who I did orientation seem to think we have some sort of bond. Like, they'll come up to me when I'm working (and I'm not talking about the people I like, because theres one girl who is pretty cool, we went to lunch and used to play soccer together, but instead about people who I never actually talked to) and they'll come up to me and they'll want to swap like horror stories. Like "ah man.." (shakes head) "how's it going? rough huh..." (shakes head again and sighs). Really?! It's not like we went to Nam together or something... I'm not swapping war stories with you, its Macy's. Yes we watched a quite painful orientation video, but really... get over it.
Whew... I'm getting winded... but I have a lot to say...
-Cupcakes:
Okay, not exactly the greatest title for this topic, but it adds intrigue. So I was looking at Robyn's blog and I clicked on her cupcake link and there were many examples of, well, supposedly delicious cupcakes. They have like caramel filled vanilla cupcakes, and one with a crunchy pretzel cup. Honestly, those all sound so gross to me. You know what sounds good? A yellow cupcake with chocolate frosting. Don't mess with something that ain't broke okay?
-Copenhagen:
Holy Moly am I excited!!! Only like 6 weeks left!! Can you believe that? That means summer is almost at an end. I feel like I haven't done anything, I haven't hung out with anyone, I've just wasted away my summer.
-Gym:
I miss going! The last time I went was before my birthday, then I got too drunk to go, then sick, and I just want to not work anymore and go to the gym with my new iPod! Oh how I love the pod!!!!!!
Okay kiddies, thats all for now. I have work tomorrow at 9... blech...
