"There is no rest, really, there is no rest, there is just a joyous torment all your life of doing the wrong thing."--Derek Walcott

I get this feeling, once in a while, that when I am old and my days are almost out that I will look back and think: 'What was I thinking?' and I imagine there are no exceptions to anyone else, given this chance at reminiscence, thinking something quite similar.

And it continues... 'What am I thinking?', 'What am I doing?'

"In any weather, at any hour of the day or night, I have been anxious to improve the nick of time, and notch it on my stick too; to stand on the meeting of two eternities, the past and future, which is precisely the present moment; to toe that line."--Henry Thoreau
