a long overdue commentary
context: December 30, 2006.
the u.s. prides itself in its legal system, and due process. Saddam's trial and execution violated all of that. the end result may have been necessary, and bound to happen at some point, but it is the process that is disturbing and unjustified. it would be better if that occurred while Iraq was not occupied by the u.s.
