Sci-Fi strikes again!
Good stuff! I know nothing about Star Trek at all so I really came into this without a background which helped me just enjoy the movie.
Seriously, JJ Abrams can do no wrong for me. I love all his stuff.
Zachary Quinto was great, as was Chris Pine! I was a bit surprised the movie didn't promote Eric Bana a bit more as a lead role but then, I guess when you're overshadowed by Spock and Kirk, who cares?
Just a lot of fun to watch and the audience really had a good time with it, laughing and probably getting jokes I did not get. I highly recommend it! And I mean, both the main characters are hot so you can't go wrong?
I do have one question: Do Spock and Urhu (the woman he was sexing up), was that made up for the movie?
Plus they showed previews for Transformers 2 and GI Joe! I was really excited to see those on the big screen.
Also ran a ton of errands today. Tonight, it's pizza and watching the Grey's finale. I'm excited!
