I'm getting full time at my job starting November 3rd. I am happy about this because it means bigger paycheck but more importantly HEALTH INSURANCE!! I'm so happy to have that back again. However, I'm still going to keep looking for a job. The job I'm at now is not a professional librarian job, more a paraprofessional job and I really want to a) earn more and b) have greater responsibilities towards a library. Full time now will be good but I cannot let it stop me from finding a job I really will truly enjoy. But at least it will get me through the rest of 2008.
Also... IT SNOWED HERE!! Large flakes that just melted on the ground since it's still too warm but still... snow. I love it. Snow makes me happy until about February then it can go away.
I feel out of the LJ loop for some reason lately. I haven't been posting much and I'm just kind of half there. I'm trying to keep up with commenting. I think real life has taken such a toll on me lately that I don't want to continue to depress you all with my worries of jobs and money. So, if I haven't been as active posting lately, that's probably why. Anyway, I hope you all had a good weekend. Yesterday I had a great day relaxing and catching up on tv and watching It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, then today I went to my church's annual fall festival and turkey dinner which was nice. Not the best food but it brought back memories of my CCD days, lol. I even saw a few of my previous religion teachers.
Tonight, I need to catch up on ANTM since for some reason, my VCR didn't tape it correctly on Wednesday when I was gone. Oh well. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday my friends!
