Just don't care.
AWESOME! This was easily the best episode of the season so far I think. Best best best. Canadian Robin, hat wearing Marshall, faux English Lily, Old Horny Barney and then Ted. I thought the group dynamic was perfecto last night, just perfect.
Loved Robin's rendition of The Cat in the Hat. Made me smile. And Ted kind of annoyed me as usual but I still find myself liking him. I like episodes where they focus on the five main characters most of all I think. That's when the show truly clicks.
Still haven't watched The Big Bang Theory or Gossip Girl or Heroes yet. Is Heroes even worth watching? Cause honestly, I'm so confused about what is happening in that show and I don't really have it in me to care too much. I'm glad a lot of my shows are on re-runs this week so I can catch up with Monday shows. When did Monday night tv get to be so awesome?
I had a knitting class last night. It went well but I'm thinking knitting may not be for me unfortunately since my hands keep falling asleep. I have carpal tunnel really bad (don't know if I've ever mentioned that.) I wear wrist braces to work most days of the week. My hands fall asleep pretty much all the time. Typing, driving, using the mouse, sleeping... but no health insurance means no visit to the doctor to see what I can do about it so I just use my wrist braces. They help ok.
My birthday is Saturday. Still no big plans in mind. I'm not really in a celebratory mood this year. Part of it is the fact that I'm turning 26 (blah.) and the other part is that last year at this time I was in NYC celebrating one of the best birthdays of my life and well, there is no way this year can even begin to compare. NYC, JKR, historical monuments, Central Park, Times Square... and then there is this year, back in Minnesota. Lame. But, I'll make do. I'm sure it will be an ok day anyway.
