And it burns burns burns, this ring of fire...

Good news! My iPod magically started working again. I have no idea why or how but I plugged it into the charger, hoping that it might do something and... IT STARTED CHARGING! I was psyched. None of my music seems to be missing or anything either. Now, I may just hold off a bit longer on buying a new iPod though I really want a video iPod. I don't know, I'm the most indecisive person EVER!

I said no to the doughnuts today at my staff meeting. With all my Girl Scout cookies lately, I can't afford a doughnut in my diet. And, well, I'd rather have a Samoa anyway. Still, I felt pretty proud of myself.

I have an online class tonight which is yay! Cause... then I can watch America's Next Top Model live instead of taping it! Woo hoo! And next week is spring break. It doesn't feel like spring breaks of my past college years though cause, well, I'm already at home, and I still have to work so the only real "break" is I don't have classes Tuesday and Wednesday night. I still have tons of homework to do unfortunately.

I also have to register for summer classes soon but the ONLY class they are offering which I want to take is library management. And unfortunately there are only 22 seats available so if I don't get into this class, I'm going to be really behind on when I want to graduate. As it is, I'm going to have to take three classes next fall to make up for only taking one class this summer. It's really frustrating because when I was accepted, I was under the impression that St. Kate's was going to offer several summer classes. I didn't expect a full semester like a fall or winter load, but at least more than the five measly classes they are offering this year (one of which is taking place in South Africa! Don't get me wrong, I'd love to visit South Africa, but not for school or international librarianship. I can't afford the payment on the trip to begin with!).

I miss Friday Night Lights. I don't think I've "missed" a show in a long time, not since Buffy perhaps. Or early Gilmore Girls. And, speaking of GG, I've started rewatching season 1 for the umpteenth time and I just love it. It really reminds me of how wonderful this show was, and even though I'm not a fan of later GG Dean, I have to admit, he's kind of sweet in these early episodes. Until his little tantrum with the car and "I Love You." Ugh.

forthegenuine, I don't know how I missed it but for some reason, your bday did not show up on my Birthday LJ list which is how I easily keep track. My most sincere apologies and many happy belated birthday wishes. You're easily one of the most intelligent, sweet and caring people I know and everyone should friend you now cause you're that cool! Happy Birthday Jen!

I can't wait for Scholastic to launch their Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book campaign starting April 17th. Good times! I hope it's fun and they release cover artwork SOON!

What a random entry. Anyway, hope everyone is having a great day. Pay Day tomorrow! Woo hoo! Not that I have anything I need to buy, but getting paid is just great all the same.

ETA: And be sure to check out ingenu0us's icons of Anne of Avonlea if you are a fan. Tres beautiful.
