Long week...

Another great episode. Honestly, I don't think there's been an episode I haven't liked yet but this one was good too.

Tim and Landry and Mice and Men. How fun was that? I'm glad they didn't go for the "he can't read" cliche cause yeah, that's been overplayed dozens of times. It was pretty great of Tim to go to Landry's show, especially when Matt didn't even make it (with obvious reason.)

I don't think I could love Tim or Matt more. They are both great characters to me in different ways.

Poor Matt. His dad is a bit of a jerk isn't he? Or seems that way. I guess he's just very patriotic.

Dirty, dirty cripple porn. Lol.

I'm not really a fan of Jason and Lyla to be honest. I think she's a lot better with Tim, but I give her credit for still making a committment to Jason after everything. For truly sticking by him (um, cheating aside.)

Next week's episode looks interesting. I can't believe the Streets are going through with that lawsuit. That's just... ugh.

And Tyra, blah. I don't really care too much about her at this point so maybe next week will get me more interested in her storyline.

If you're not watching FNL start! All the episodes are available online at NBC.com and it's well worth your time to check it out.

So, I FINALLY got my 703 grade today. FINALLY.

It was only unfortunately an A-. I'm really disappointed in myself. Just... a lot. I mean, I know I didn't deserve an A because there are still things with cataloging that I'm not too sure of or just don't care enough about to continue to investigate, but... man, I wanted that A. This is the first time in about three and a half years that I haven't pulled off a 4.0 semester and I'm just kind of devastated. In a big way. Granted, 3.833 is nothing to scoff at either, but it's not a 4.0 and for my first semester of grad school, I really wanted that 4.0. Bad.

My godfather is back in the hospital. The pretnazone (spelling?) they put him on wasn't helping and he's in more pain than ever so he's in the hospital again, possibly until Tuesday or so. My family and I were supposed to go over to his house on Sunday and celebrate the New Year so now we're moving it to the hospital to celebrate... hopefully his healing. I'm not sure, but I feel bad for him. He's not my favorite relative but I'd never want anyone I know and love to be in pain.

Other than that, I've just been relaxing this week. Turned in all the necessary work papers yesterday so I can start on Monday (eek!). Also, almost finished reading The Other Boleyn Girl and for all those who recommended it, thanks a ton! It's been really great for the most part and, more importantly, has really rekindled my interest in that period of history. I've been browsing amazon and barnes and noble for some history books on the topic of Henry and Anne since I have a bunch of gift cards I can use. Haven't found quite the right one yet, but there are certainly a lot of choices out there.

The next book I plan on reading: Uglies by Scott Westerfeld.

My internet has been really slow this week and it has been driving me nuts. Pictures aren't loading and I don't know why. I've ran all my virus scan programs, my spyware stuff, cleaned out my cookies and other files. Any other ideas?

Anyway, hope you are all having a good week!
