First of all, Happy Birthday
cookiedg4 Secondly, I start classes again on Thursday. Yay! I'm not exactly excited for the prospect of homework and what not again, but eh, as soon as this semester is over, I'll be a college grad, so yay, let's get on with it already. :)
I've been busy, so busy. The dog show was a lot of fun. Holy cow, dog owners treat their animals like children, like beauty pageant children, it is quite insane. But on the other hand, I have never seen so many beautiful dogs in the same room. They all looked and smelled so nice. I wasn't allowed to touch many of them because it would ruin their sleek coiffures and what not, so you could only pet them after they'd been shown, but whatever, it was still nice. I saw many ugly breeds of dogs too unfortunately, but I guess that is par for the course as I saw many ugly humans (including my next door neighbors who I don't like very much.)
Then on Sunday, I helped my mom start putting up a chair rail in our kitchen and then we went and visited my grandparents (the first time in well over two years, though I did see my grandfather Christmas of 2004.) It was weird but not as bad as I expected it to be I guess. I just don't click with my grandmother because first of all, she's a religious zealot, like badly. It's insane. And because she keeps trying to sell me this guava juice stuff guaranteed to help not only my diabetes but my brother's diabetes and oh so conveniently, the stuff costs like $35 a can. No thanks Grandma. I'll stick with my own routine thank you very much.
I saw Sky High and the Skeleton Key courtesy of Netflix. Both movies were just eh for me.
Now, I'm packing up and also finishing off wrapping my mom's bday gifts. Going to take her out to dinner either tonight or tomorrow night, not sure which yet. I also have to get to Target between now and Wednesday, and I have to watch the new GG and Scrubs on tomorrow. And I have to run to kinkos to laminate my Krum poster. And oh yes did I mention the packing? I honestly don't know how I acquired all this stuff between coming home December 15th and now.
I bought this new diet black cherry vanilla coke. It's good, but honestly, I wish they would stop putting vanilla in every kind of soda available. I don't like vanilla in my pop all that much to be truthful. So I'm a bit iffy on it.
Hm... what a boring post huh? I do stuff all the time it seems, but it's just not that interesting so I guess I don't have all that much to say. I'm fairly boring and conventional like that I guess.
Finished Meg Cabot's Avalon High. I don't think it will ever be a favorite Cabot book, but it was still fun to read.
Erm... well back to packing/cleaning/cooking/etc. Have a nice Monday everyone, especially good luck to those back at school!
