Lake of Tears: Forever Autumn
(Black Mark, 1999)

Now there's an album that declares belonging to autumn even by its name. The warmth and peacefulness in the title-song reminds of the sunny autumn days when all the colors are unbelievably bright: the sky blue and leaves all shades of yellow, red and orange. Somehow the feeling of bright colors and rather early autumn lingers on through the whole album, though some shades bring on the misty rain and those colorful leaves spinning in the wind. Rather early in that sense the atmosphere feels (to me) so strongly connected with the colors, and not the dark and muddy season that is about to come when the all the leaves have fallen.

Even though the album embraces autumnal themes as whole, there's still some essence of melancholy, but it's warmly welcomed.

I didn't find any official promovideos and I doubt has any been made, but fan videos with original songs give you the example as well. Seems by the beautiful autumnal pictures that whoever decided to illustrate the title-song Forever Autumn with slideshow had similar ideas of the bright colors:

The song was personally important at some phase in my life (and ended up to even one episode of Synkkis-comics). Repetitiveness shows rather well the obsessive intensity that sometimes leads our thoughts on other people, until some day we stop to breathe and wonder "what was I thinking?"
