Missing my lil buddy <3
Sorry I haven't updated in a while these last two weeks have been crazy for me.
Unfortunately last Thursday my family and I had to put our dog down. It has been really hard for me to realize she is gone. I got her when I was ten years old so I guess you could say we grew up together.
I'll never forget when I first saw her. My parents and I drove out to Fenton Michigan to meet the breeder who's name was Pat When we walked in there were all these little terrier puppy's running around. You couldn't even imagine how excited I was! I remember there was this little boy puppy who kept running around like crazy. Pat kept pushing us to get the puppy but he just didn't seem interested. Then there was this girl terrier who was about a year, her name was Sable. She was very playful and kept coming around us wanting to be petted. She also loved to have her belly rubbed. She seemed just as excited to meet me as I was to meet her. Well after that night, my parents and I decided that she would be the one we would take home.
When we first brought her home it took a little getting used to. But, as time went on she became part of our little family for thirteen great years!
Even though it was so hard to say goodbye I knew I was doing the right thing. I know now that she is resting in peace, catching squirrels and enjoying walks with my Gram and Grandpa in heaven.
She was a great friend and companion, always knowing how to bring a smile to my face when I was down. I'll never ever forget the wonderful times we had.
