Just found out that my dad died today. Me and my mom were talking about certain memories, here is one:
My first comunion (I was raise roman catholic) I was 10 or 11; my mom and dad already been divorce for over 3 years, he was living in another city 9 hours away from the capital were I lived. After the ceremony there was a party at my house, as it is custom. He came by plane that night, the flight was dellayed, he got to my house late when all the guest were leaving. I see him and I jump to huge him, he says to me that he couldn't get me anything (it's traditional to bring a gift to this parties), I said to him....... -I didn't care for a gift, I was happy that he made it.....then he laughed at me, but I saw that it was because he was happy, and huge me tightly....
And that's the memory I'll always have of my father....
Leopoldo Eugenio Cardozo, died the 4th of April at the age of 62, by a stroke, father of 4, hard worker, and best at what he did....
did the best he could and knew to love and provide for us.
Te quiero papa, Bendision....?
