Guest Bathroom Remodel
last night I decided to tackle the horrid wall paper in my guest bathroom. What was my grandfather and grandmother thinking when they installed it in 1973? Even though I was using a spray remover called, "DIF", it was still incredibly difficult to remove. It only took me about seven hours to to the whole bathroom last night. Now I have to clean the walls, fix a wall that is out of plumb, texture, and paint. Then I need to replace the floor with new travertine 12" tiles, new wood base cove, sand down the cabinets and re-stain them, replace the light fixture with a more modern one, and new towel racks. The bathroom looks so much better just with the hideous wall paper gone. I am sure you all can't wait to see it when it is done. I know I can't wait.
