Fursuit Making

May 16, 2009 22:20

My first attempt at making my first fursuit is going well. I have the lion head nearly completed. I first started working on it at Luphinus and Diadexxus place for the first two weeks. They gave me a lot of valuable instruction on how to make it. Thanks Luphinus and Diadexxus! I started going over to Chairo's house for the last three weeks. His house is only 20 minutes from mine. It is a lot easier on the wallet. The car that I am driving right now only gets 12 miles to the gallon! I am trying desperately to get my Camaro to pass the smog. It has been a huge ordeal. That is another journal in itself. Anyway, back to what I was saying, I almost have the head done. I just added the ears, cut the eyes out more, and did some work on the head this past Wednesday evening. Cinnamon did an excellent job of casting some realistic teeth for me. It looks awesome! (Thanks Chairo and Cinnamon for all the help so far!) To complete the head, I just need to cut out the grin on the cheeks, make the tooney eyes,  the tongue,  put on the fur, the eyebrows, and maybe wiskers and such. I can't wait to see it finished. It is so awesome just seeing it evolve!

Here are some pics of my progress so far:
