Follow up on the Children's Health Site
I got a response (two actually). My email is being forwarded to the correct people and I am the only person who wrote in on the issue. But they don't think they are working with Autism Speaks and the only autism group they work with is The Autism Treatment Network. So, this may just be a really prominent ad they are running that looks like they are affiliated, but they aren't. I'm still not thrilled about that, but it's better than if they were actively involved. It's most of the page when I go to the child health site, so it really seemed connected, but it may not be.
If you do write in, it may be better then to mention you'd rather they not have ads from Autism Speaks, or at least not so prominently, but it looks like they probably aren't working with them, so that's good. I figured I better update on that. I'm also not surprised if their ads are less vetted than the places they give money to.
