That Changes Things
So, I've just blown the entire budget for luxuries for over a month. And I will be taking my first ever vacation with darch that is purely to go somewhere and have a vacation as opposed to being to see friends or go to a wedding or similar. My household is going to Hawaii in mid-May. I have never been to Hawaii. I hear it's pretty. I'm not entirely sure what to do there, but I expect we'll spend some time on the beach. I want to see the local flora and fauna (flora, at least). And madmanatw has access to a place we can stay in Hawaii, so we wanted to snatch the opportunity while it existed.
A vacation... how odd.
So, we bought plane tickets. And I've been buying a few minor items that seem like they will be really useful (a bathing suit, some flip-flop-like things). And being annoyed with airline policies. I hate airports. I hate flying. I used to love it. Now it just makes me angry. But despite minor annoyances, I will have a vacation. I hope to enjoy it.
