This one sounds a little tricky...

List 20 books that changed you. This will clearly get long, so...

They are in semi-random order. Initially by age of exposure, but then by the order I could think them up. Which means some that influenced me more are later than some that influenced me less. But you'll note some common themes.

I love the idea of this meme! I found this very interesting to read.

Since you like Smullyan and you like Alicey goodness, have you read "Alice's Adventures in Puzzleland"? I got that as a science fair prize when I was wee and loved it ever since. It has knights and knaves, and ways to approach algebra-looking problems without algebra.

I should dig up more Smullyan. And Hofstadter. Also, Rita Mae Brown, which is entirely unrelated except for being someone else I'd like to read more of.

Probably. It sounds familiar. I've read a few spin-off type books for both Alice and The Wizard of Oz of various different sorts, so it gets hard to keep track. I'll try to look it up to see if I've read that one.

But I'll probably get it at some point when I'm restocking my Smullyan collection and then look through it and either reread or read some of it.
