Good morning.

What fandom are you thinking about joining? I've already joined Star Trek XI: Uhura/Spock, but I'm not positive of my skillz nor my characterization yet. So I'm just lurking and reviewing. Anyway I could go all day about it. But I won't, because I just your reply to Mihnn, so there is no need.

1. My heart is not skipping beats. :/ Maybe try a lyric? Unless that's the last pic in the series.

2. Seems like a set up! I'm expecting tears, babies, the whole works. Is this a shorter work? I ask because a) I'm nosy b) we're assuming so much out of the gate. If this one is very plotty and twisty then hooray.

3. Wow...I could've really used a ploy like this in a fic I wrote. I like the tone of this one a lot. A there seems to be a purpose and direction. *is interested*

4. (comes back from being lazy). EWE, seems like a cat catching a canary. Is it Granger?

5. LOL. Very good job. I like the misery and all the sense of ease.

6. Two thumbs up! Her acquiescence doesn't seemed forced or OOC. The third sentence is a bit confusing. Is he pointing at her? Pointing around the room?

7. I would change the word deafening to something less ironic. And then this: she was vaguely aware of a distant voice...it cuts on word clutter. Also, I do like how much energy and activity you imbued into the background.

8. Hmmm. You'll have to convince. I feel like I'm missing a lot of information. However, I do like the informality.

9. third sentence: Something more descriptive.

Ha, yes, characterisation is very hard even in a fandom you've been in for ages, let alone a new one. I'm still in the lurking stage (not even reviewing yet), so you've got a head start, bb.

1. Tbh, I depend on the song title reminding viewer of the whole lyrics + situation in which it was sung, because I cannot find anything self-sustaining enough without being too restrictive in terms of meaning. It's not working, hmm?

2. Everything but babies. They do not agree with me (in fics at least), so except for the occasional cameo in epilogues, I avoid them at all cost :) Anyway, I guess that kind of answered the plotty bit. But that twisty one is still depend on whether I decide to be merciful or not. Right about now the level of twistiness is low imho but mortality rate is high!

3. YAY! May I ask which fic is that?

4. Ehm, don't mess with Severus Snape will you? Actually, this is supposed to be serious biz, though it seems to have a humorous vibe to it as well. I think I may use it in some other fic with that vibe in addition to this serious one.

8. uhm, I was going for the droppin-info-bit-by-bit-through-out-the-fic style, so we'll probably have to go a bit further to see if it works or not. Once I get a more sustantial amount done, would you mind looking at it to assess whether it's convincing or not?

1. I'ont (that's I don't in slang) kno (that's know). What if we trying branching out/thinking about the song?? It's about belonging, wanting to belong, becoming familiar, desire for intimacy, and to an extent about exploring and gaining mastery over a situation that intrigues us. Usually when I'm stuck, I think of the theme and then try to parse something out. I like "To Belong" or something along the lines of "knowing a stranger."

2. Kids are best done in drabbles. However, the first concrete idea I ever thought of involved pregnancy. Basically Hermione has to come up with a fatal potion and Draco serves as a lab rat. Two become 1 and then he dies. Very sad stuff and I have no idea where that WIP is.

6. good thinking. In like three days, I will show you a sentence whose ass I kicked. Me and it had a similar problemo that you're having it. Authors win.

Hello! I am back from my writing/revising haven! How're ya? Anyway, before you ask, I am good. I have teeny tiny bits of new writing scattered all across the fics now, but hey, progress is progress.

NOW WHERE IS MY SENTENCE? The one that got its arse kicked, that is.

Also, do we need a schedule or a rule of some sort to kick each other's arses? Or just random and spontaneous kicking, like this *kicks*

The 100 Things Challenge had stolen me away, and then I got a cold that took three days to ferment into something truly miserable while all those other days just being non-threatening, but I'm back.

Also, turns out that I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to O&F, so the sentence is there... or maybe in your inbox...

I prefer the unexpected kicks. *kicks* Perhaps if we kick each other 3-5 a month that would be sufficient "thinking about doing you bodily harm" gestures??
