UPN strikes again.
What on earth am I talking about? Something I am SO totally sick of and plan to follow up on strongly to light a fire under someone's ass. Granted I am only one person and can't expect to make a difference against a TV station all alone.... but I know there's lots of other PISSED sci-fi fans out there.
The latest outrage by these idiots?
Haunted. They canceled it. Just like they canceled Wolf Lake, Special Unit 2, Level 9, Burning Zone, and TONS of others. I plan to follow this up after I dig up and tally just how many good and promising shows these morons have canceled. The list goes on, and on.
And even though it has been around for a looong time and some of the more recent plots are them pulling things from their ass..... Buffy, the past few episodes has actually been awesome.
The whole "From beneath you, it devours" just has me wondering like crazy.
The bad news and more proof of idiocy?
They're thinking about canceling Buffy. Something that has run for how many years and has how large a fan following?
Yep. Okay, so some people could care less. Some people don't like sci-fi. But anyone who liked Sixth Sense liked Haunted. It was a damn fine show and held lots of promise as far as I am concerned.
Yet they canned it. They can a lot of things. Just because it isn't "reality TV" and because their ratings are already going down the damned drain. They're grabbing for straws.
And they think this is going to help them any?
So called friggin sci-fi channel when they first started out?
Now they've degenerated to trash TV sitcoms with no plot or storyline depth, and lame assed reality TV (the most recent that'll come along is that model-search crap with Tyra).
As if that was any big surprise. We knew they'd cancel Haunted. We just hoped they wouldn't.
