Two other things..
The first being that I am leaving for a trip to New York on June 7th. I won't be gone too long because if I make it into Remington, my classes start on the 21st of July.
However, while I am gone, I'm going to need someone to help with feeding some of my animals so my mother doesn't have to worry with it totally. My main concern are the snakes and the fish. She normally feeds Ozzy and the cats, and I don't think she'll have a problem with the mice. So I need to find someone who will be willing to stay with the snakes and give them fuzzies and watch them eat, then put them back in the tank. And the fish outside, and betta fishy inside will need their pellets. Unless for the outside fish I get one of those extended feeder things. I don't know how they work though.
Little blocks that last so many days after you put them in the pond. Hmm. Have to ask about those.
The other thing is an offering of some fun goodness! Paintball! Mike is trying to set up a paintball trip, and it looks as if it will be falling while I am up there. We're going to a well known place with some good fields. We're still trying to see how many people we can get to go. If we get enough people, it lowers the price and we get more goodies to go and play. If we get enough, we can also rent a tour bus or something so no one has to drive. We're checking prices for that right now. Overall at most it will probably cost about $100 per person. Keep in mind that covers all the paintball stuff. Rentals and also buys enough ammo, and all that good stuff.
If anyone's interested, or knows other people who would be interested, drop me a line for more information. I believe we'll be trying to get the bus in Manhattan area, and then drive out from there, so we can all meet in one spot and get together and go. I believe the field itself is in Pennsylvania. Skirmish USA I think is the one we were looking at. So let me know!
