long time, no update
Yea, so I have been sucking at LJ lately.
Let's see...Jonathan came to visit me a couple weeks ago. It was fun, but sorta weird. It was good to see him though.
Work has been insane. Beat Michigan weekend was taxing. I was up late all three nights. I spent the rest of my waking hours working on the 888 presentation. My group (Kelly, Justin, Brian and me) presented this past Tuesday. We had been working on this for over two months. It went well and we got an A on the workshop and an A to an A- on the handout (which ended up being 80 pages)...but Dr. Bob said he was leaning towards the A. Rock on.
I am home in NY tonight. I flew in for the holiday, but I will be leaving saturday. My mom has to leave at 5AM tomorrow because she is going to Arizona. My uncle John (her brother and my godfather) is in intensive care. He has been getting progressively worse all week. I am so worried. There hasn't been a day this week that I haven't cried about it. I only wish I could see him again, but I don't think it will happen.
I am glad to be home, though. My dad, grandparents and I will celebrate tomorrow. I have a bunch of work too. Friday I am having lunch with Joe (I don't know how I feel about this) and then I am hanging out with Keri in the evening.
I just need to make it to 5PM Dec 5th...
