Merlin's Funeral December 29th, 2005
Ode to a fish that lived so very long.
Once Panda's then Rabbit & Ray's, now in fish abyss for he is forever gone.
Remember his red fins shining in the light and talking to us with charming fish-like character.
Time of death...sometime 24hours ago...Time of funeral...1st attempt 11:30 last night. The suckie-fish guarded the corpse as hunt, and i could not attempt to get Merlin out with no tool. And yes, i admit, no guts to get him out feeling his energy as i touched the tank. gasp!
2nd attempt, and actual funeral...8:00pm today. So perfect,just right, to set him free in the toilet waters. As Ray's alarm sounds for the background musak...I grasp my utensil and fight off mr.hugealgeeatter (ugly mofo but true to its kind) and swoop out Merlin. Of course Ray continues not wake up for the event, thus supporting in his slumber as now, 2 alarms are sounding! FLUSH & white light sent to let him go. Goodbye Merlin. WE all loved you as a fish.
