Can you hear my voice, my love?
The rhythm of your breathing
sends shivers down my spine,
soft promise of delights to come,
of joys to be felt...
I need you...
I need to love you,
to make you mine
as I become yours.
A moan broaches the distance
I cannot yet cross;
(so much space between us:
over two thousand miles as the heart flies)
sighs and tears of longing
in place of my touch on your skin.
Until that day arrives
your voice will give me strength
to go on
day
by
day.
Meanwhile...
night
by
night
our souls touch
through each other's voice.
