For those of you whom I haven't talked to directly lately:
Well, Chris was forced to pull out of UTI because the carpool thing was a total fiasco. To say he's not happy about it is an understatement. We need a car now more than ever, but it has to be something we can afford to upkeep and insure. (This last means liability-only, of course.)
I'm still pestering the people in Panama for my back pay. It's two thousand dollars, dammit. Gimme my money!!
We've been at chuck's for the last couple of days. Going back this evening (MiL is picking us up). I wish we didn't have to, but here where Chuck lives it's all farms. As in Amish country. Good if you like peace and quiet, deadly if you need to get to a job interview and have no car.
I wouldn't mind it out here if we did have a car, it's a nice place to have a veggie garden. I could have my tricycle and get around more easily.
