Penguin Encounter
Sunday was the day for our Penguin Encounter at the Mystic Aquarium. The penguin was an African black-footed penguin. He was SO cute! He waddled around the room, mainly by the woman in charge of the encounter. We learned all about the life of these penguins. During the second portion of the encounter, the woman held the penguin on her lap and we went up one by one to pet him. Then the penguin wandered around the room some more and he came close enough for me to pet him again. It was so amazingly cool!
After we finished our day at the Aquarium, we went for dinner at a Japanese restaurant which was really nice.
We celebrated Sunday as Valentine's Day and it was incredibly fantastic and sweet.
