Her heartbeat pounding through her head was the only thing Callie could hear, the thumping outpacing the rhythm of Arizona's slow, deep thrusts. Her wife was a genius at driving her crazy. “Please,” she gasped out, pleading for release. Fingers curled inside her but she was left dancing on the edge of bliss. “Please... Arizona...”
On her knees on top of her, pelvises flush together with Arizona’s fingers the only thing between them, the blonde simply smiled, her breathing ragged. Slowly rocking hips added a depth to her moving hand, as well as providing her with just enough pressure on her own clit to make her orgasm grow and swell without breaking through her.
Callie dropped her face into a sweaty neck, sucking on the salty flesh for a moment before she broke the contact for a new breath. “Please, you feel so good,” she panted desperately.
“Shh, I've got you,” Arizona promised, breathing hard herself. “You know how beautiful you are? Calliope...” She turned her face in to catch Callie's lips, moaning at the passionate response she got. Callie's hands on her back dragged downward, making her hips jump and disturbing her slow and steady rhythm.
“Yes!” The deeper plunge drove Callie closer but not over, the gasp becoming a moan of protest when Arizona’s fingers didn't withdraw for the next thrust but planted deep inside her.
Arizona could feel the hot breath washing over her neck, the sweat on her skin sliding down her neck, her abdomen, to join the wetness between their legs. Callie was tight all over, trembling in her arms, but she hadn't come, was dancing and dangling right on the edge. “I want to put a baby here.”
“Holy - fuck!” Callie came with a gasping moan, unable to help herself at her wife's words. Heat like lightning streamed through her veins, heart pounding in her head fading into white noise, nothing distinguishable from her bliss. Arizona's lips on her face, her ear, her neck, were the first thing to fade back into existence and Callie hooked both hands under her wife's thighs, leaning forward so they tumbled backwards.
Once Arizona was under her she wasted no time, kissing a scattered path down her body and throwing both legs open wide. Arizona moaned loudly and Callie spared a thought to be grateful that Sofia was sleeping over with Zola at the Shepherd's house in the woods, miles out of range of hearing her make Arizona noisy. Hips rocked against her face and it was clear that it wouldn't take much. And if the blonde hadn't just said what she'd said Callie might have considered dragging it out the way it had been dragged out on her, but she couldn't do it. Not when she was married to the most incredible, most amazing, most awesome person on the planet.
One hand flat on her stomach held her still, Callie's mouth eagerly helping her toward orgasm and then licking and sucking and helping her through it. A nose nuzzled her thigh as she came down, Callie kissing the inside of her leg before crawling up the bed to flop bonelessly into the musky, tangled sheets beside her. “Wow...”
“Damn right!” the brunette agreed, still breathing hard.
Laughing, Arizona rolled onto her side (from the waist up at least, her legs weren't exactly cooperating with her brain yet) to kiss a sweaty shoulder, one hand trailing down Callie's back. “We definitely need to clean these sheets,” she mumbled against the skin. “And take a shower. You're all sticky.”
Callie's hand reached blindly over to slide down Arizona's stomach and between her legs. “Because I'm the only one here who is sticky?” she asked smugly before she withdrew her hand and licked her fingers clean.
“I didn't say that,” Arizona countered playfully, one hand pushing lightly at Callie's slick shoulder. “I like you like this. It's hot.”
Turning her face into the pillow Callie smiled, trying to catch her breath. Arizona succeeded in getting her legs to curl but didn't move further, satisfied with that small bit of success. One brown eye peeked open to watch her, trailing over her features.
“Did you mean what you said?”
Arizona blinked at the question, tongue peeking out to wet her lips. “The thing about a baby?” Callie's head tilted imperceptibly. “Yes.” She breathed deep, holding it for a second. “Is that something you could want?”
Moving slowly, Callie pulled her arms under her, leaning up on her elbows once she was sure she had enough strength back to manage holding herself up. “More kids? With you?”
“Well you're sure as hell not getting knocked up by anyone else,” Arizona declared, smirking up at her.
Smiling, Callie shook her head. “We want to have more kids?” And now, or soon? Because it had been four months since Addison and Alex had had their son, more than a year since they'd lost their own baby. They talked, were closer and more honest with each other than any relationship she'd ever had. She could tell her wife anything. And she loved Arizona Robbins more than she'd ever dreamed possible. A year ago when she'd held her wife in the hospital bed and wept out their grief she was sure she couldn't possibly love her more, but she did. Every single day she fell more in love with her partner, with their daughter, with the life they shared and the family they were building.
“We do if you say we do.” Arizona fell onto her back and Callie shifted to move closer.
“I didn't think you were ready,” Callie admitted, dark eyes focusing on the pulse she could see beating steadily under pale skin. She dropped her head to kiss it softly. Fingers curled through her hair, rubbing gently at her scalp.
“That's what you said last time,” countered Arizona, an amused tone in her voice. Callie was amazing. She had no doubt whatsoever that her wife would do anything for her. “I want more kids, Calliope. With you. Our kids.”
That sounded perfect, she would love that, absolutely, but there were things Callie needed clarified. “I don't know if we - I don't want you - nothing can happen-”
“Sweetie, shh,” Arizona whispered. All of her checkups and tests had been clean since Addison had removed her tumor. She was the picture of health. “I know. Nothing is going to happen to me. I know I probably can't carry the next one,” Callie shook her head in denial, looking into her eyes seriously, “but you could, and we should have more. I mean, Sofia is perfect...”
“She is. And I adore you, you know that?” Arizona touched her face softly, thumb dragging across her brow. “And we should have more, you're right, we should.”
“As cute as our kids turn out, we'd be doing the next generation a favor having more,” Arizona agreed, teasing lightly. “Just wait until Sofia starts dating.”
Groaning, Callie swatted her wife's arm. “That's not even funny!” She dropped her head into Arizona's shoulder and her voice was muffled.
“I know we normally take turns being crazy, but whenever she's out on her first date...”
“Oh yeah,” Callie agreed without waiting for Arizona to finish her statement. “We can both be crazy that night.” Turning her head, she snuggled in closer to her wife. “What time are we supposed to pick her up from Meredith's anyway? Or were they dropping her off? And do we have time to go again before that?”
Arizona moaned, body stretching. “We're picking her up. And I told Mer we'd take the girls out for lunch, give her and Derek a minute of peace.”
Callie's head popped up. “So you're saying we only have time for another round if we do it in the shower?”
Grinning, Arizona nodded. “That's what I'm saying,” she agreed happily. One of Callie's hands was already on her right breast, thumb rolling her nipple. Unconsciously her head rose to try and meet full lips. She wasn't sure she could remember anymore kissing anyone but Callie. The way Callie kissed her, the feel of her lips, the taste of her tongue, had wiped all of the others out of her mind entirely ages ago. And she didn't miss any of it, only wanted her future with the woman beside her. Because it was going to be awesome.
But Callie didn't meet her lips for longer than a swift peck, sliding off the bed entirely too quickly. Anytime she was naked and moving it should be in some kind of slow motion if Arizona had anything to say about it. Callie was grinning at her from the bathroom doorway, black waves of hair and miles of skin on display, and her heart was suddenly pounding again. Shuffling toward her across the rumpled sheet, Arizona could feel her hands itching to touch her again.
“Do you understand what you do to me?” the blonde asked, her voice low and breathy.
Callie just smiled sweetly. “Come over here and I'll show you what you do to me,” she promised. The smile went teasing and Arizona wasn't sure she'd ever crossed their bedroom so fast before.
One hand slid across Callie's cheek, tongue already plundering her wife's mouth, feet moving them toward the shower. Sweat from their first encounter made her skin slide against Callie's as they kissed, the brunette moaning against her lips as they stepped and stumbled toward the shower.
Callie shoved the handle for the water control (thankfully toward the warm setting) as she was propelled backwards, but Arizona was the one who touched the cool tile wall first, the brunette spinning them and slowing their kiss down. Steam was quickly clouding around them, the slickness of water on their skin different from the salty slip of sweat. And the wetness between Arizona's thighs was something else entirely. Touching Arizona like this made her feel lightheaded, heart pounding too fast. “Mngh.” Arizona's moaning groan against her mouth made her quiver.
“I know, I'm here,” Callie promised, panting the words into her lover's ear. Water beat around their heads and she couldn't help kissing her again, fingers moving against her center, slipping shallowly inside. “Open your eyes, look at me,” she breathed.
Blue eyes fought their way open and they were all Callie could see, her entire world at that moment. Two fingers slid home and Arizona's mouth fell open as she breathed jaggedly. “Calliope...” Callie kissed her again and her eyes fell closed. Callie's heart was in her eyes. It took her breath away.
“Look at me,” Callie pleaded again. “I love you so much. Look at me, please.” Arizona knew exactly how much Callie loved her, knew she'd see it in those dark eyes that she adored, and she knew that she'd come the second she did. “Come for me, Arizona.”
Or that would do it.
Callie pressed her into the wall as the pleasure overcame her, holding her steady while her fingers stroked still more bliss from her with an expert touch. She forced her eyes open as she started to come down, seeing the loving lust in her partner's eyes. “Hey,” Callie greeted her in a quiet tone. She leaned in to suck water off fair skin, nuzzling against her cheek before she leaned back again.
“Hey,” Arizona echoed. “So, that was...” Callie grinned knowingly. “You're amazing.”
“I know.”
The cocky grin on her lips was irresistible and Arizona had to lean in and kiss her. The steam was still clouding around them and Arizona slid her fingers through dripping dark waves. Callie's tongue pushed forward and she answered it, gripping black hair tightly with both hands. “We're going to run out of hot water, aren't we?” she asked, another kiss forestalling an answer.
Callie pulled on her bottom lip as she withdrew. “Well, I wouldn't want you to get all pruney, princess,” she teased, laughing when it earned her a swat to the arm from her partner. “You want to get my back and I'll get yours?” It was their usual ritual whenever they showered together (especially when they spent more time on sex than on washing themselves).
Arizona stood on her toes, pecking a kiss to full lips. “Turn around.”
The whole time they were getting dressed Arizona kept sneaking glances at her partner but never said anything, smiling whenever she was caught but not saying a word. Still silent, they drove to the Shepherd's house, Callie humming along to the radio.
Sofia and her best buddy Zola were more than happy to expend some energy at the park, their lunches half eaten on the park bench where Callie and Arizona sat watching and enjoying their meal a little more slowly than the little girls.
Arizona's fingers brushed Callie's as her partner stole chips from her bag. Their eyes met and she smiled almost shyly. “So...”
“Yes?” Callie coaxed, bringing her pilfered snack to her mouth slowly. She knew perfectly well what her wife wanted to talk about. She was having trouble putting it out of her mind herself. And watching their first amazing child playing only helped her imagination.
“Do we want to use the same donor, or...?”
Callie's smile widened as she crunched on her pilfered chip. “I want whatever you want.”
“Don't do that,” Arizona requested playfully. “I'm being serious, Calliope.”
“So am I,” Callie said, stealing another chip. “Are you going to make me quit coffee again?” Blue eyes rolled instead of a verbal answer. “Figures...”
“You're also banned from sinkholes,” Arizona declared, bumping her with an elbow and sending a crooked smirk her way. “Calliope...”
“Any kids we have,” Callie's hand took Arizona’s and guided it to her stomach, “any baby that is here, that baby's parents are you and me, you got that? The rest of the details, I want whatever you want,” she repeated herself, leaning over to drop a kiss on her wife's cheek.
Sofia squealed as Zola turned a quick corner around a tree and slipped and slid as she tried to catch up, drawing both of her mothers' eyes at the noise. Arizona tensed as if to move but their daughter was immediately on her feet and giving chase, making her mother relax. “She would be such a good big sister,” the blonde said, eyes still on her baby girl. Sofia was beyond adorable with her little cousins, learning to be patient and kind as she interacted with the smaller boys, teaching Luke and Theo how to hold little Adam. Arizona couldn't wait to see how she was with a little brother or sister of her own.
“She will be,” Callie agreed warmly, moving the rest of her lunch out of her lap and sliding over to curl an arm through Arizona's, resting her head on her partner's shoulder. “And you - Arizona, you're the best mother in the world.”
A soft smile graced her lips over Callie's head and Arizona turned her face to kiss dark hair. “Maybe the second best,” she conceded. “We for sure have the best kid, though.”
“Absolutely,” Callie agreed, leaning into her and lacing their fingers. “And we'll have more.”
“And they'll be awesome.”
