So, my life is revolving around work a lot at the moment, what with it feeling like no sooner have I left here, than I'm waking up and heading off to work. However, I shall attempt to avoid talking about work, which is no doubt rather boring for other people.
The post-cup-day-honey-moon on public transport seems to be over, with everything seeming to be delayed by 20 mins this morning. However, I can't complain too much, as I still was able to get to work without having to deal with traffic, which is nice.
Also, I have discovered that some of the people at work study Bujinkan (I have nooo idea how to spell it, but it's basically ninjitsu) that a very close friend in Adelaide has been hinting to me that I should try. And apparently there is a place in St Kilda where they train. Which is not far from my house. Which fulfills Matt's lazy requirements for such things, as often post-work I can't be stuffed going anywhere unless it's close. Especially if it will involve physical pain on my part as black belts demonstrate the finger-of-death to the class using me as the crash-test-dummy :)
So (1) I plan on going along to see if I like it and (2) I need to be very nice to the client, as they may flip out and kill me despite my 'moving hands in circular motions whilst asking for money' consulting routine :)
