Glitch
This is my baby doggy. He's a pound rescue from last Christmas, and he was the very best Christmas gift ever. He's come to live with me finally, in my apartment. I missed him while I was busy getting everything set up and back into some sort of order.
People always ask me why I named him Glitch. My soon-to-be ex-husband tried to make it into something logical by explaining that when Glitch walks sometimes, he doesn't use his back left leg. So he has a "glitch". Haha. But the real reason he was named Glitch was in honor of the character of the same name on the SciFi (now SyFy) miniseries Tin Man. Has anybody else seen this show? It's amazing. They reworked the story of the Wizard of Oz, which is one of my favorites EVER. Glitch, in the show, is the version of the Scarecrow, and he's been punished by the evil witch who's taken over the O.Z. As punishment for not giving her the information she needs (he was the head advisor to the real queen of the O.Z.), SHE HAS HIS BRAIN REMOVED! So he's wandering around with a zipper in his head, all lost and confused and "glitching". Anyway, when I found Glitch, he reminded me of Toto, but I was told I couldn't name him that. So I named him Glitch instead. He kinda looks like him, right?
