This past weekend..
Was the first time in about 14 years that I've seen my grandfather, on my fathers side. This might not seem like a big deal to some but he shocked everyone this past weekend by being so mellow and laid back (for thoose of you who don't know he is retired airforce and was a hard ass from what my aunts and my father).
So everyone at the reunion got to meet leona and everyone seemed to like her. But leo experienced a first from my family, when my newest grandmother pointed out and questioned her necklace. But Leo didn't miss a beat and explained what it meant to her and that was that. Leo also made me a yummy batch of chocolate chip cookies in which I'm partaking right now.
