pottersues is GONE!
I can only assume this is because the people who run this joint think it's mean. But it's just good fun, and it performed a necessary service--Have you any idea how many Suethors pottersues and her lesbian minions converted into good people with a much deeper understanding for what makes good writing? Now, all because a few teenagers who want to get into Tom Felton's pants threw a series of hissy fits, those of us who consider the books at a deeper level must lose our best source of amusement.
There's dozens of Mary-Sue and badfic mocking blogs out there! Is this movement going to get rid of them all, while the Sues and fics themselves continue to run free? Are the world's young girls to run unchecked, corrupted by the beliefs that rainbow eyes aren't creepy but beautiful, that "Quidditch-toned muscles" and "curves in all the right places" actually exist, that a half-mermaid half-fairy half-angel is completely plausible, that Hogwarts accepts American transfer students, that "Princess Arrylyn Laiea Dumbledore-Potter-Black-Snape" is a real name, that it is not a grave offense to memories of millions of innocent people to write a story in which Jew!Hermione and Nazi!Draco fall in love?
You know, I hadn't realized how justified my outrage was until I wrote all that. A little more of my hope for the world just died.

So I'm reading Little Women, and it's good, but Jo just turned down Laurie's proposal (who knew my uncle was named after him?), and now I can see something's starting between him and Amy, so all I can think is "REEEBOUND!"
I don't care what Mrs. March says. Jo should marry Laurie. *pouts like a nine-year-old*
