Dear SUNY Albany,
Yes I am a male bodied individual with large breasts. Please fucking get over it. Being stared at, laughed at, snickered at, and called "faggot" "fag" "fairy" "queer" or having something obscene yelled at me have gotten severely old by now.
I am not naïve enough to think that I am going to be accepted by everyone under the

Oh and Chartwells is just shit. They could've put Alex on your tag, easily. No problem there.
I'm totally against the behavior you've been forced to deal with, of course, but if I may play devil's advocate, some of it I think I understand. Not agree with it, but understand. Pronouns? Yeah, like, its hard for many people to use female pronouns with you because, well, you're not very feminine. Not even like in a butch or tomboy way; I mean, if females were Canada, you're India. Not saying that's a bad thing, but it does make it difficult. Even I have difficulty using female pronouns (and most of the anime club too, if I recall correctly.)
Of course the difficulty with the RAs was just bad. After being badgered at least two or three times they should have recognized it and started using them. And the orientation session, well, I'm sure they were expecting more "feminine-looking" female-identifying people. Either that, or they just put in those lines to comply with government law. In either case, it was douchy and unwarranted. (Maybe they were afraid of men using the session to take advantage of women. Hmm...)
But there is one question I have: why are you afraid of going into a men's bathroom? I mean, you might identify as a female, but you still have a predominately male body, I can't imagine any of the gay guys on campus would try to rape you, and even if they did, well, you can kick Chuck Norris' ass. You shouldn't be afraid of a situation like that. Or am I misreading what you meant by "feeling unsafe by going into a men's bathroom?"
Obviously what is going on its wrong and its need to be brought to light. Transsexuals and transgendered people need to have the same appreciation as everyone else. And on that topic, why isn't there an atheist group on campus? I see all the Christian and Muslim and Jewish groups, but where is there no nonbelieving group? Or Hindu? Or Buddhist? Where are that? That confounds the living shit out of me.
