Mine's a high-end custom job, though. They went a little overboard. Most models are simpler.

Whoa, that's pretty nice. Custom, huh? You rich?

Not really. Field pay is pretty good, but it's mostly just that aside from supplies and food I didn't have any other expenses. Plus I traded in materials.

I'm definitely not rich here, anyway.

Sounds pretty similar to synthesizing in my world. I wonder if it's possible to make weapons out of materials here.

...how else would you make them?

I don't know. Ever tried making a sword out of Hippo's breath?

I have no idea what that is, so no.

You get accepted into the great, prestigious police force?

I haven't actually talked to anyone from it yet. I got the name of the guy in charge, though - the Warden? - so I'll be talking to him sometime if I can get a hold of him.

So you'll be one of the big boys, soon. Impressive.

I don't know for sure yet. I've got to talk to them first.

You don't think you can get in?

I don't know yet. It depends on what they need. Or if they need more people at all.

Yeah, I'm going to say they do. Just a guess with all the chaos that goes around here.

Probably. I'm not going to assume anything, though.
