1:30am. Just went through my journal. All of it. Interesting read. There were parts I wanted to shake my younger self and yell, "Run!! Run far away!!" or "Dad's right about this! Listen to him!". There were also parts that I just wanted to go back and live in forever, like when I went to LutherHaven or when I visited Bryan. Oddly enough, the space ( Read more... )

There's not too much anyone can say for your psychosis. If you hear little voices in your head, that's where the professionals step in...outside my jurisdiction, I'm afraid.

Did you ever hear the phrase "reading is like food for your mind"? Well, it's true. Especially when it comes to reading your own LJ entries. When you're reading all these things, you're completely counteracting the reason you wrote them to begin with. People, people with problems, write to get out their emotions, to spill their hearts out to a nameless face that won't tell them they're being stupid or juvenile. But when you read them...when you go through all your entries, you're absorbing...re-living these events in your mind and haphazardly causing yourself the suffering that ensued then as well as now.

Do yourself a favor: stop right now with the "gallant knight/wandering prince" bit. And let my tell you why. Read those stories, watch the Disney movies. These people like Cinderella and Snow White weren't the women of today's Society. They were cowardice, fearful women that couldn't and wouldn't take on the world because of all that was out there scared the ever-living daylight out of them. That's not you. I know it's not you. You're stronger than that. I know so, because if you weren't, you'd have been long since dead by now.

I know it's nice to have someone say "everything's gonna be all right", and it may or may not happen to any of us in our lifetimes, which is why we need to become more independent. We need to understand that this pain cannot cause us any more harm than we let it. You're 19 years old. Why is it so hard to believe that you're not going to find your soul mate right away? Loneliness is sad, it's true, but the only reason it hurts is because you dwell on it.

You have my number, and Meghan and Jeremy live with me. If you ever just want to get out and have a good time and forget your problems, then give me a call. Believe it or not, just because we're not with you romantically, doesn't mean we don't care just the same.
