Macintosh Browsers

I reported a security problem to the Mozilla Foundation in May. It affects all Mozilla-based browsers under particular, though common configurations on Macintosh platforms. I am annoyed that it's still not fixed. I'm going to email them one more time, then I'm going to break the veil of secrecy.

Browsers, it seems, kind of suck in general. Firefox leaks CPU cycles. Especially on annoying video-and-sound advertisements appearing on otherwise text-based sites. (Forbes.com can kiss my ass!) Safari behaves better with regard to CPU but consumes memory as if it were an infinite resource.

So, which do I pick? Honestly, I usually prefer wasting a few CPU cycles over leaking memory, however, Safari has the all-too-cute ability to drag-and-drop links and pictures into iChat.
