Désirée's new thing is to answer "aaaAAAH?" or "'eein?" when she doesn't understand what we're saying. It's alternately very cute and very annoying. We must resist the urge to respond with "aaAAH?" back, because that would just reinforce speaking bad. So the last few days have been a round of her: "aaAAH?" us:"Pardon?" her: "aaaAAH?" us: "Pardon?" "aaAAH?" "Pardon?"

And so on.
