Well another year has come and gone at the sally army's music school and what a week it was.
Special guests this year were Andrew Blyth from IHQ's Music Ministries Department

Andrew Blyth. (aint he cute?)
and Paul Drury for Edinburgh Gorgie corps, each taking leadership of our Brass Bands.
The singing instructor for the week was Ann Howlett-Foster from Cambridge Citadel and was warmly welcomed as a breathe of fresh air by the girls in her chorus.
The week started off with the usual nerve wracking auditions in both vocal and brass then a time of relaxation as we tucked into the usual chips for dinner.
Sunday saw our morning worship lead by my Uncle Robert MacIntyre (major) then rehearsals for brass and vocal followed by more chips in the dinning hall.
Afternoon activities included football, dance lessons, extra tuition, some general hanging around and lots of water fights.
In the evenings, we would have another rehearsal then the evenings entertainment, including the DAFTA's, It's a Knock Out and our Friday night Ceilidh.
See pictures in my gallery.
more coming soon when I can be bothered.....
