When things come too easy, we suspect. Do things need to get complicated before we believe they are real? We are raised to believe that the course of real love never runs smoothly. There always has to be obstacles in Act II before you can live happily, ever after in Act III. But what happens when the obstacles aren’t there? Does that mean there’s something missing- do we need drama to make a relationship work?

In my relationship with Derrick, it all started off perfect. But for some unknown reason I felt the need to add drama. I threw in anything and everything I could think of. But starting off this time, we do have real problems. One's between the families, friends, and each other. We have a not so happy past, and we are both in hopes of a happy future- whether it be together or apart. I also have issues with myself, that only I can work out.
