Seeing as she was a controversial HP fanfic writer before she went into professional writing, I somehow find this unsurprising. Thanks for the review, as I wasn't certain whether I should take some time to read these or not, and I think I'll just pass now.

lol, it's alright, I figured that only a couple sentences in to reading it. I'm glad I saw it though, you make some good points and I might try the Infernal Devices books given the comparison you made.

Hehe, you're right, of course. I only started listening to the audios because I had discovered a few interviews with the actors playing the main characters. As I like Rober Sheehan, I got curious about the story. I haven't watched more than the trailer, but it intrigued me enough to give the stories a try.

(And even with Naadi's praise of Infernal Devices, I'll probably pass and save my money for more Neil Gaiman. ;D)
