Okay, now a days I suck when it comes to bands & concert venues.
Originally Wednesday night I was supposed to go see Circa Survive w/ Cute Is What We Aim For, As Tall As Lions & Envy On The Coast at the Glasshouse, but Nommie had to work that night while I was very exhausted from classes that night.
So tonight last minute we're gonna see them.
I thought this whole time they'd be playing at the House of Blues, and I wasn't planning on bringing my camera since cameras aren't allowed there.
Then I just found out that afterall they'll be playing at the Avalon. I've never been to the Avalon, and I dunno how their camera policies are. I dunno if they are cool w/ cameras just like the Glasshouse, The Chain Reaction, ect. or very anal just like the House of Blues, The Palladium or even perhaps any shows that have AFI. Or they can be so-so okay like The El Rey.
If anyone has been to The Avalon, can you please tell me what's like there and most of all if they are camera friendly or not? Should I resort to hiding my camera inside my maxi pads bag and sneek them in? Much help is greatly appreciated. Afterall, it's been a while since I took any decent concert photos.
Anyways, thanx a whole ton! :D
P.S.
I take back what I said earlier. I have been there before, but back then it was called the Palace. I went there a little over 10 years ago to see Blink 182, Homegrown, Incubus & War Called Peace, and back then I didn't bring my camera (I didn't really actively start taking show pix until 2002). So yeah...
cute is what we aim for,
circa survive,
the avalon,
cameras
