Goodbye Santi... You've Been A Wonderful Fishy...
I've been a horrible pet owner... I should've given Santi more attention...
He died lastnight. When I went to check his fish bowl to feed him, I didn't see him swimming around. I thought he had jumped out of his bowl. When I turned the bowl around, he was down on the ground, lifeless...
He died so soon... I just cleaned his tank a couple weeks or so ago, and he was a happy fish. Now he's gone...

It seems like yesterday I picked him up at Petco after a day of running errands. Not too long ago, I released my turtles, Spuzzy & Drewsky, at the Brand Park Pond near the Japanese Tea House. Originally I went w/ my dad to get cat stuff for Misty. Out of nowhere, I ended up getting some fish stuff and a red beta fish. I ended up naming him Santi, after Sisky (aka Adam T. Siska) from The Academy Is... Few days later, after seeing The Academy Is... I told Sisky about Santi, and how I named him after him...
Now, he's in a much better place, swimming with Nemo (my blue beta fish), Drewsky (my other blue beta fish) & all the other fishes my family and I had (including Bruce-the Tiger Guramis) for the past 19-20 years in Fishy Heaven...
So long Santi! I'll miss you, but have fun at fishy heaven...
His funeral was today, as soon as I got home from class.
I was contemplating on getting another fish (specifically a white beta), but it's bad enough I couldn't take care of Santi that well. How much more w/ another beta fish? When I told my mom about Santi, she told me that we'll get an aquarium and get more fishes.
I'll see if anyone needs a fish bowl (w/ rocks and plant) with food, bowl conditioner, net & a cup for the fish. If not, I'll put it in the backyard. I'll ask arielchick if she needs a fish bowl for her fish.
Well, I needed to post a memory post dedicated to Santi. This entry needed to be on its own plus I haven't uploaded pix for the nextcoming entry. I'll have that posted soon...
