Anyhow...
mydirty_secrets: Prior to having this wonderful person friended, I used to see her comment on
askedfour's,
sidcrosb's & even
wicked_kathy's journal entries, and she seemed really cool. Then out of nowhere, she found my journal, and from there we've been friends. She shares my love for hockey, especially the Q. Although I'm not into the Halifax Mooseheads as much as I used to, her being a Moosehead fan made me regain my interest over the Mooseheads. Aside from hockey, I enjoy reading her wonderful entries, especially when she goes to trips and stuff, and of course her pix are amazing. She too also leaves me lots of comments on my journal. In all, Mariah is an amazing person and friend to have around.
sidcrosb: I originally seen her and met her through
sidney_crosby. One day I saw her post, and she had a Luc Bourdon icon. Back then I just had my hockey spunk back after being on hiatus for a couple years, and slowly getting into hockey and hockey players again. I was really ecstatic when I found out that she was a Luc fan. Since then we've become friends, and she got me back to getting into the Q after many years from falling away from it (I stopped keeping track of the Q after the L'Oceanic won the Memorial Cup). I really enjoy hearing her Q stories, especially game stories & how she'll make fun of the players and all. She and
askedfour even came up w/ a perfect nickname for Luc which has been stuck into me. Aside from her hockeyness, I like her comments spam entries, her great taste in music, and her fantabulous fashion sense. In all, Emily is an awesome person and friend as well as a very dedicated hockey fan.
This past Saturday
puckplayer42 and I went to Lake Elsinore. Last month I took him to B-town. This time it was his turn to take me to his old hometown. On our way, we briefly stopped by at Riverside where I paid
arielchick a surprise visit at her work. Although she was very very busy working at the drive thru, she was very shocked but happy to see me. :D
From there, we went to Perris and Lake Elsinore where he used to live. It was memory lane to him. We first stopped by at the the Rail Museum, a much larger version of Travel Town, where we got to see some of the old trains. It was nice, but we couldn't stay too long because it was hot.
Sadly his house got torn down when they expanded the highway, but at least he knew where it used to stand. Then we went to a liquor store that was owned by a very good friend of his. We were treated to free drinks and pizza. His friend Andrew and his wife Fattia were very welcoming not to mention excellent people. Their kids are adorable as well. :)
After the trip to the liquor store, he took me to his old high school and the first Wal-Mart he worked at. he got me a $4 bear which I ended up naming him Toby Lukas. Then we did some window shopping at the Outlet Mall before going to Danielle's house. Originally she was supposed to have a party, but not too many people showed up. So we all ended up going to Temecula where we went to the Promenade where we did some shopping. Then we had dinner at Johnny Carino's since her sister-in-law works there. The food was soooooo good, and even Lisa, Danielle's sister-in-law, served us. By the time dinner was over, we ran into her (she was done w/ her shift) along w/ Danielle's brother (I forgot his name-sorry Danie). Somehow, Lisa kinda looked like/reminded me of
_canbarelysmile. We were supposed to either go play mini golf or go to the casinos, but it was getting late and we were getting tired. In all I had a blast during my Lake Elsinore trip and sharing the memories he went through.
Dust Devil (we saw 2 that day)
Nommie @ his old high school.
This past couple days or so, I've been putting together a 60-page calendar of events booklet for my church's 100th Year Anniversary. It's been a pain in the butt putting the booklet together (using photoshop & quarkxpress), losing my sleep and everything, but it's pretty much done. I just need to add and change some stuff, but otherwise it's ready to go. I showed Bob what I had done, and he was very impressed.
*sigh*
Yesterday, fall semester started. It was pretty much go through the syllabus, introduce ourselves, yada yada, as well as go through parking lot traffic and long lines to pick up my parking permit & turning in/picking up my bags @ the bookstore bag check in. I also had to spend about $200 in art supplies (it could've been a lot more if it wasn't for all of the special discounts and everything). That's how the first 2 days of class are. If case you're wondering what I'm taking, I'm taking Art 52-Illustration & Art 18-Rendering. It should be loads of fun.
Lastly, after watching the Web Episodes of Rockstar Supernova...
I've pretty much lost respect for Dilana. I know she's been having a very rough week, but that doesn't mean she has to take her problems out on other people. I was hoping that she'd put all of this hell behind her and move on, even after she apologized for her previous actions and admitting that she made a mistake. Unfortunately those past problems got the best of her, and she ended up flipping off the cameras and throwing a glass down on the ground, causing the glass to break, and pieces of glass flew and cut Magni. Luckily he was cut on the head and as of now he's okay. It could've been worse, especially if the glass got to his eye. At least she was kept apologizing to Magni and was very remorseful for her actions, but still. No offense to Dilana, but if she keeps up w/ her attitude, she's not gonna last very long. She may be an excellent performer, perhaps one of the top performers (although I like Toby, Lukas & Ryan better), have great fashion sense (especially from the City Walk show), cool hair (especially Week 8's elimination show), and so on, but I just don't like her atittude & her atittude problem will affect her in the long run. *whew* I just need to let this out. [/end of rant]
Otherwise, today's show was very interesting. I know it's has taken me forever to type all of this, but all I could say is that Lukas did much better than expected w/ Nirvana's "Lithium" considering he struggled with the song during rehersals. Toby was his hot sexy self getting the crowd going and putting on 2 strong performances, his very own and his guest appearance during Storm's set. I really liked Ryan's performance while I thought Storm's and Magni's performance was a little weak for my liking, but still a great set. Despite all the drama rama rama drama, Dilana did redeem herself by putting on an excellent set. If I recall, I voted "Mother Mother" for her, and I thought it was a perfect fit for her. Somehow she keeps getting better and better performancewise.
The bottom 3 as of now are Lukas, Storm & Ryan. I'm not gonna say more since I don't want to jinx anyone, but please tonight vote for Toby & Lukas since both of them are on the verge of sinking down further to the B3, and they are at risk of being eliminated.
Please Vote For Toby & Lukas!!! Merci Beaucoup! Well, that's all for now. Till then, have a wonderful day.
Toby Lukas says "
Vote For Toby & Lukas!!!" Bump them out of the bottom 3! Merci! ^^
The End!
