The Long Awaited Florida Trip Entry...
*Sigh*
I'm at my aunt's house having dinner. I thought I'd sneek into LJ land while I'm here...
The whole gang got to see Twister, one of the Universal Studios attractions my cousin designed. It was awesome and very soothing especially being out in the humid air. Then we had lunch at Flannegans. Yummy Irish food. Then we got to go to Twister again since one of my aunts and my cousin came to the park late and missed it the first time. It felt so good going through the cool breeze. In all, my cousin did an excellent job at designing Twister. At the gift shops, I got a stuffed cow and pig similar to Baby Corvo and Chubby Dustin. I still have yet to give them names as well as a biker bear I got on sale.
Other rides I went on... The Mummy = Kick Ass Ride... Back To The Future = Nausea!!! Terminator = Awesome show!
After the Universal Studios trip, we went to Island of Adventure where Andy, Joemca & I went on The Hulk. Kick ass ride. We almost didn't go b/c it was closed down for a bit due to weather conditions. While we waited for the ride to reopen, Alyssa (Andy's sister) and I played Dance Dance Revolution. We also rode on Jurassic as well as some water rapid ride where Andy, Alyssa and I got soaked the most. After Island of Adventure, we did some shopping at Universal City Walk before leaving the park.
Later that night, Frank, Andy, Alyssa and I went go-karting at a smaller amusement park. While Frank and Andy went on another more challenging go-kart ride, Alyssa and I played DDR and went on some spinning ride. It was run although I felt a little nauseated. After that, we went back to the hotel where we were spent.
Day 3:
My cousins and I all went to Disney MGM Studios. Andy, Joe and I went to The Tower of Terror and Aerosmith's Rocking Rolling Rollercoaster. The Rocking Rolling Roller Coaster kicked so much ass! However, I was dissapointed w/ Tower of Terror. I thought that ride would drop us all the way down, but it didn't. Weak ride! We also took the back lot tour which was kinda similar to Universal Studios. While Joemca, Andy, Alyssa and Theresa watched the Car Action show, Anne and I watched The Voyage of The Little Mermaid. It was a cute show plus it was soothing with the small raindrops and bubbles. While I was shopping for postcards, the girl working at the counter liked my peguins tank top since she likes peguins (as animals). Andy, Joe and I went on the Rockin' Rolling Rollercoaster again before leaving the park. The rest of the night was spent packing.
Day 4: Goodbye Florida! I got to the airport early where I wrote one of my slash fics as well as slept before boarding. Of all people, you won't believe who I saw and at the same time rode on the same airplane as my aunts and I... Dennis Rodman... I can't believe I was only few feet away from him while we were in line and pretty much the same airplane as him. I was all meh though since I don't like basketball that much and I don't like him either. At least his kids are adorable. I'd been more ecstatic had I saw a hockey player...
As for my ride, it was alright except when we went through the storms near Texas. I was so scared and worried that I cried. Thankfully we made it home safely.
The rest of the week since my trip... Classes, NHL playoffs, missing QMJHL hockey, missing ECHL hockey, and most of all... missing puckplayer42 since he left for Arkansas the same time I returned from Florida. I so cannot wait to see him tomorrow since he's still flying back from his trip.
