Welcome To Orlando!

May 27, 2006 03:11

First entry in Orlando Florida. I just woke up!

It's 6:13 a.m. here while in it's 3:13 a.m. in soCal according to Bettie.

Anyhow, my flight was alright, but otherwise uncomfortable and rough. I fell asleep part of the way, but felt so uncomfortable since the seats were hard, there was little space, and I sat in the middle rather than the window. Next trip I should bring a mini pillow. Then on our way to Orlando, the flight was so bumpy that I was feeling nauseated plus I thought the plane would fall apart. It was scary. At least we made it to Orlando safe and sound, at about 7:30 p.m. (4:30 p.m. in soCal).

I found it weird that it rained yet it was still sunny and warm. So I guess the birdies are having a big wedding. Why can't it be like that in Cali.

As for the rest of the day, all thanx to the time change, I really didn't do much except have dinner w/ my other aunt, her mother, uncle and cousin. As soon as we returned, my uncle and cousin & his family came over to visit us. I can't believe his kids are all grown up (Chase is 14 years old while Taylor is 12). I still remember them as little wee bits/babies, especially Taylor when she was only a little baby when she got baptized. My little cousins are growning up so fast while I'm starting to grow old now. :P

*sigh* Thank friggin goodness there's internet access available in the hotel room I'm staying. It's $6.99 for 24-hour access. I so need LJ right now as well as Memorial Cup updates. Speaking of which, The Wildcats whooped the Giants asses 4-1 and are moving onto the finals against the Remparts. Finally a Q team is gonna win the Memorial Cup, whether it'll be the Remparts or Wildcats. It's about time! The last time a Q team won was in 2000 and that was the Rimouski L'Oceanic. That was also the last time I was really into the Q before I fell away from it and eventually hockey. I'm not gonna say anymore since I don't want to jinx the Wildcats. All I could say is GO CATS GO!!! I so need to watch the game achives, especially Wildcats games since I'm so behind.

Also, the Hurricanes won 4-0 and the series is tied 2-2. Oilers on the otherhand need to win one more to make it to the Finals... GO OILERS GO!!!

Otherwise, thank goodness for the internet and LJ because my aunts have been buggin me way too much. I love them, but sometimes they bug me way too friggin much or don't give me enough space. I can't even go to certain places w/o my aunt coming w/ me, even if I can go alone. Don't be surprise if I end up snapping. Days like these I wished my mom would go or perhaps my sister or cousin Joe (Joemca) would be there. At least Joe will be coming on Sunday.

Well, I have to get ready now. A very busy day ahead of me. Till then, have a wonderful day! :D

[Comments optional but pix will be coming soon]

P.S.

I so could get a drink of Gatorade. I've been craving it ever since I was at LAX on my way... *points at icon*

P.S.S.S.

I forgot to mention that the internet connection here is crap! It'll work fine for a few minutes, but after that it starts to run friggin slow like 56K. Grrr...
