Lucky Break?

Dear Long Beach Ice Dogs,

If you ever plan on doing a post game autograph session before showering, please at least have cologne, Axe body spray or something handy & spray it on you before you go out meeting your fans. You guys reeked, especially being on the ice for 2+ hours. I totally understand that if you showered, you'd keep the fans waiting plus you'd be freezing your buns off. If you decide to skip the showers & show up in your under gear for an autograph session, please try to cover up that awful hockey odor by spraying cologne, Axe, ect. Thank you and have a wonderful day & game.

Luv,
Moi

Dear Jerry Graves,

If you ever decide to cancel class, please call me ahead of time. I don't care if you call at 3 a.m. Please call me and let me know so that I don't have to waist my time driving all the way to Pasadena just to find out class is cancelled. Therefore, please pretty please pospone the due dates of our projects. Anyways, thanx a lot and have a wonderful day.

Sincerely,
Moi

Dear Los Angeles Kings,

These last 2 games... You have proven to me that YOU SUCK HORRIBLY!!!!
Choking those past 2 games to crappy teams in your division that you should at least beat.
Overall, just falling apart those past 2 games is totally unacceptable. You either need to get your heads
out of la la land or else bye bye playoff... Till then, cya on the ice on Thursday and at practice on Friday...

Luv,
Moi

P.S.

(No offense to any Cheechoo lovers-I like him as a player & he's a cutie-I just don't like him when he plays against the Kings)
A BIG FUCK YOU TO CHEECHOO FOR THAT HAT TRICK AGAINST MY POOR KINGS BOYS & SHOOTING THAT PUCK AT CONNY WHICH
GOT HIM HURT IN THE EYE!!!! >:O

Anyways, this past Sunday puckplayer42 and I went to another Ice Dogs game. We got there a little before 5, and we thought we had missed some of the game. By the time we got to our seats, the lights were down and we spotted some of the Ice Dogs players shooting pucks in their under gear. So we all met up w/ Laura, and started to take pix of the boys warming up. Then we heard an announcement that the game was delayed for 2 hours and won't start until approx. 7. So we stayed for a bit to take pix, watch the guys warm up, and even chat with Laura. As the guys were getting off the ice, a couple of kids asked Christian for a puck. He came back to the ice to get those practice pucks, and gave it to them. (Awwww... HOW SWEET!). I also took a pic of him in his warm up gear.

Since we were getting bored hanging around the arena, we left and had dinner @ Yardhouse, not too far away from the arena. It was a beautiful outdoor candle lit dinner we had since it was sunset...

Then we return to the arena where the game started and everything. 1st period was okay. Lots of hitting as usual, but then Cory Urquhart scores for the Ice Dogs, and the score was 1-1 at the end of the first. 2nd period, the Condors took the lead, but Cory scores again tying the game 2-2. Then later he scored again for the Ice Dogs, and got a hattrick. 3rd period, it went by very fast... One of the Condors got hit near where we were sitting, and there was blood on the ice. Ewwww... The Ice Dogs ended up winning 3-2 & Cory got the #1 star of the game.

As for the Condors, the only Kings prospect I saw was Ryan Munce. It seemed like there was hardly anyone from the team because I kept seeing the same guys all the time on the ice. Chris Hodgeson wasn't playing... Not even Eric Nielsen was playing... Otherwise I'd gotten lots of pix of them.

Overall, despite the win, that was prolly one of the most depressing games I've been to because there were hardly anyone at the game. In fact, one of the sections near the ice was almost empty. Either the fans left early or didn't bother showing up to the game. At least the enviroment itself was intimate, although there were a group of bitches who were mean to us as well as Laura. At least we still had fun regardless of how nearly empty the arena was.

Ice Dogs win!

After the game, Laura and I stayed on the ice waiting for the 3 stars. Then we met up w/ puckplayer42 in line for the autograph session and Laura's husband later joined us. The players came out much quicker than expected, most of them in their under gear. However, the lines were so disorganized because the flow was running slow. At least the whole team signed my program while I chatted with a few players...

I should've given Cory a dirty look and not even congradulate him because he was being stuck up. >:[
One of the players making nice comments on puckplayer42's tie.
A couple players took Michael's draft pic I had for him, and were pointing out who's who in the pic.
I had my pix w/ Olivier Michaud and Jimmy Bonneau.

The autograph session could've been better, but otherwise it was good. And lastly, the guys reeked since they didn't shower just yet. Stinky hockey players. :P

Speaking of Jimmy, here's an excellent interview on him. :)

Monday: I crammed and rushed over to class, but to only find out that it got cancelled, so I drove back home... *le sigh*
I also got great news from a Myspace comment by cbloveskc. Joe Rullier was Loaned/Sent To Manchester for Brad Smyth. I was beyond ecstatic because Joe Rullier is back w/ the Monarchs. I'm also wondering if he's back to being Kings' property. If so... *does a happy dance*. Seeing him w/ the Wolfpack wasn't the same at all. I missed him so much. Hopefully he'll be at the Kings' training camp this coming fall. :)

Yesterday: I didn't bother going to class, but I had to go to the eye doctor w/ my dad. While waiting, I went shopping at Whole Foods, went online for a bit before heading back to the office. I got some of my project done as well as one of my writings while waiting at the lobby. Thank goodness there was a plug outlet for my computer because the batteries were running low.

As soon as I got home, I listened to the Kings/Coyotes game, but I stopped listening after the Kings allowed 4 goals within 2 periods. Overall, their past 2 games sucked like whoa! I'm starting to worry now. To make things worse, Pavs is hurt again & Belly and Conny are already injured. I really hope it's not deja vu all over again. They better start kicking ass the rest of the way or else...

Well, I'm gonna end this now. Sorry if this entry is choppy. I had to type quickly since I have to get ready for class. I'm not even suppose to be updating, but I thought I'd take a peek plus I rather get this done and over with. I'll keep you up to date on the due dates and stuff. Jerry better pospone the due dates since pretty much everyone in my class are lost and needs some help w/ the brochure project.

Till then, have a wonderful day.
