RIP Bernard "Boom Boom" Geoffrion My prayers and thoughts go out to him and his family, friends and fans...
Anyways, yesterday Aimee's family from Kansas City, MO came to visit us, so my family & I and Aimee & her family (parents plus 2 of her siblings) all had lunch at Barrington's. We were so full from lunch, especially from the deep dried ice cream since it was enormous.
Then I took a small nap while watching the Pens vs. Devils game. The only time I'd wake up is when the Pens scored. I couldn't get to watch too much of that game (at least I PVRed it) because I had to switch to the Kings vs. Blues game (and watch it in my dad's room). I watched the game until
puckplayer42 came to my house. He brought my newly repaired bike, and looked so lovely. I was so excited that I rode it for a little bit. As soon as I put the bike inside the house, we headed over to Long Beach for the Ice Dogs game, listening to the Kings vs. Blues game.
We got to the game slightly late, but we were able to watch most of the 1st period. I didn't pay too much attention because I was slowly getting familiarized with the arena, players, game, ect. since it's been years since I last went to an Ice Dogs game. Also, I was checking for the Kings vs. Blues scores (btw, the Kings won 2-1 in SO).
During intermission, we got some game programs, and the guy working at the merch booth commented on my jersey (I was wearing a Habs jersey while he was wearing a Maple Leafs jersey) and asked us how we'd feel if one our teams lost. I did tell him the Habs won 1-0. :)
2nd Period: since there were 2 empty seats at glass level and nobody claimed them, we sat there the rest of the game. However, the Gulls scored 2 goals, tying the game. While I was sitting down watching the game, out of nowhere Spike, the team mascot, started pounded the glass, then turned to me and asked me how I was doing which creeped me the hell out because since when do mascots ever talk? Otherwise, lots of hitting and stuff (which you'd not likely see that much in the NHL) as well as eye candies including this one hot guy who works for either the team or the arena drinking Red Bull and wearing girl pants and a pink belt. RawR!
3rd Period: Still the same except the Ice Dogs scored and won the game 3-2. I almost caught a shirt thrown by the #1 star Christian Larrivee, but the guy behind us caught it. Grrr...
And pretty much the Long Beach arena plays so much better music than at Staples Center or perhaps the Scum Pond.
After the game, we got behind some barrier thingie, waiting to meet the players. There were a lot of San Diego Gulls players loading gear and stuff out of the arena. We didn't bother meeting any of them. We mostly chatted w/ this one old lady named Laura. She was so awesome! I also remembered meeting her at the 2002 Kings' training camp, and talking to her. When I grow old, I want to be like her (and Doris as well). Then some of the Ice Dogs players came out. We tried to get Corey Urquhart to stop for a pic, but he just walked off. Then Jimmy Bonneau came out (I wanted to meet mostly ex-Q players since I still remember a handful of them from way back in the days) and we had out pix taken. I also told him great game and wished him luck. Then Michael Lambert came out, and I had my pix taken w/ him. That boy is HOT SEX w/ legs not to mention that he's a snazzy dresser and has a thick & sexy French accent. RawR! Then Luke Fritshaw came out, and signed Laura's broken stick while I had my pic w/ him. Finally Christian Larrivee came out, and my oh my he's such an uber sweetheart. Not only did we have out pix taken not to mention that he's a snazzy dresser, but he stayed for a while just to chat w/ the fans, including us and Laura. He told us how he liked our jerseys, but he liked mines better (go figure ;] ). Laura also told him how she was afraid to speak to him in French because he's a Quebec native and she didn't want to make many mistakes. Awwwwww... After meeting him, we said goodbye and left the arena. We had dinner at Chili's before heading home... From there I went online looking for old pix of Christian and Michael during their Q days before crashing...
First Kitty pix...
I took this pic sometime last week. I thought it was cute!
Misty, the Habs fan? I know before I took that pic she was lying on my Habs jersey.

Today I still need to do some more work on my project, but later tonight I'm going to another Ice Dogs game. Originally we were supposed to go to the beach but due to weather conditions (especially the fact that it's hella cold plus it could possibly rain), we decided to go to another Ice Dogs game vs. Bakersfield Condors. There are some Kings prospects (plus Jordan Little from Making The Cut) on the Condors plus the Ice Dogs are having an autograph session after the game.
Well, I'm gonna end this now. Till then, have a wonderful day! :D

I'll give you a cookie if you can spot current Pens players (Hint-there are 2)
I'll give you a cookie and a cupcake if you can spot current NHLers in that pic.
And no cheating! Meaning don't scroll down and look for the answers on the comments. :P
You Are Guinness
You know beer well, and you'll only drink the best beers in the world.
Watered down beers disgust you, as do the people who drink them.
When you drink, you tend to become a bit of a know it all - especially about subjects you don't know well.
But your friends tolerate your drunken ways, because you introduce them to the best beers around.
