Post Thanksgiving Day

You'd prolly were wondering if I went to the Kings' practice for the 3rd time this week.

Well, I ended up not going b/c Liza stay overnight in Torrance, and she didn't come home until the afternoon. Thus I had no way of getting there. If I knew she'd stay overnight, I could've called my aunt and asked her to take me. Ah well. I guess I needed a break from going to practice. I have a handful of practices to go. Maybe I can try to go on Sunday. I'm pretty sure they'll have one, but I rather go by myself via public transportation than have someone drive me, wait for me and even rush me out. UGH! From what I read at the LGK.com boards, they started late (11:30) and they mostly had drills and stuff. I still would've love to see Cammy & Corvs again.

In other Kings related news, the Kings reclaimed Yanick Lehoux and sent him to Manchester after having a brief stint w/ the Phoenix Coyotes and San Antonio Rampage. At least for now I'm happy Yanick is back.

Meanwhile, I watched the Flyers vs. Bruins game and fell back to sleep instead of going to practice. I had this weird dream where _canbarelysmile and I went to Toys R Us to look for hockey cards to buy. While we were going around the store and stuff, I see Alan, my figure drawing instructor, place all of our past assignments on a table at the store, and we both pick up our drawings. I was jealous of _canbarelysmile for having a better grade than me. Then out of nowhere, I was at a Boston Bruins practice at some arena. I don't remember much except I went to the bathroom, and either I or someone got hit by a puck or something like that.

I spent most of my day and night watching hockey games and shopping.

Bits and pieces of hockey games I watched today aside from the Bruins/Flyers game-Senators vs. Islanders, Red Wings vs. Ducks (snippets), Pens vs. Panthers, Flames vs. Oliers and now I'm watching Univ. of Michigan Blue (Cammy's old team, Jack Johnson's current team) vs. Univ. of Minnesota Gophers game.

I went to Best Buy & Target w/ my aunt, and I didn't get anything except a dvd-Road Trip. I was hoping they'd sell Miracle, but somehow I didn't find it. :( I should've gotten the Miracle dvd when it was still being sold at Target long long ago. Also, they don't sell hockey cards at any of the stores nearby. All they had were packs and shit loads of baseball, basketball & football cards. Bleh! And there's only 1 massive pack of old hockey cards. Hockey cards I more than likely have, and the players w/ their old teams. I really wished they could sell new and updated cards. I used to collect hockey cards, but I stopped when a lot of stores I'd shop at stopped selling them. I still have my stash of hockey cards somewhere in my closet...

Then Liza and I went to Sherman Oaks where we went shopping and swimming afterwards. Thank goodness the pool was heated b/c it was friggin cold outside. Even the lifeguard had a blanket wrapped around him.

I dunno what I plan on doing tomorrow. I'd love to go to the Kings' game tomorrow night, but I have nobody to go with plus I'll be bitter for missing the KROQ party, unless the party passes are available for sale for everyone who has a ticket to the game rather than season ticket holders. If not a hockey game, I'll try to go out and watch a movie.

Well, I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, if not better. I'm gonna have my pic spammage since LJ has been so dead lately. I thought I'd share with you 2 hockey brothers worth swooning over...

All thanx to the videos posted on latendresse84, I cannot stop squealing over Gui and Olivier. They are so adorable together not to mentione they made a big impact in the Canada vs. Russia challenge, although it wasn't shown anywhere near where I was at.

Olli Jokinen!

Gah! He's so adorable in this pic! He had a hat trick tonight, against the wrong team. I miss him as a Kings player...

Aight! Have a wonderful night! :D
